'Desperate Housewives' ist eine Reihe von Duetten, die in Zusammenarbeit mit einer Freundin entstanden sind.
Diese Aufnahme ist von Dezember 2017 und passt zur Weihnachtszeit (Mariah Carey).
Hintergrund: Herzschmerz-Hits, selbst wenn sie noch so triefen und leiden und sich während 3-4 Minuten intensivieren und steigern – nie werden sie konsequent durchgezogen. Stattdessen bleibt es: schön. Das wird dem, was wirklich in Der Großen Liebe -und ihrem Scheitern- passiert, nicht gerecht. Wenn man tatsächlich damit geschlagen ist, dass man meint, ohne den anderen nicht leben zu können, so ist man im Arsch und singt keine 'power ballad'. So haben wir 2017 'Without you' erlebt – wenn ihr das als Trash missversteht, ist es schade drum.
(Tip: Von vorne bis hinten hören :-p)

You have to know:
1) We are in a cellar. The ground is sticky because of beer
2) It's 10 in the morning (directly after getting up - it was not our beer)
3) The music comes from a CD player found in the street and a love song compilation on CD found in the street as well
4) We both are not a couple and have never been
5) Those times we unfortunately didn't need much time for entering the right mood for the song because of
6) When singing we sometimes kneel down like praying, we fall down. And I beat myself with my fist at my upper legs, into my stomach or my lower belly with every offbeat
6) Hearing that again now and remembering moves us - and we decided to present it to you without editing anything.
